Paul Perrino is a meetings and events veteran with over 20 years in resort and DMC group sales and is currently the President and owner of the company “CONFAB For Planners” (www.confabforplanners.com). In the theme and spirit of Paul’s desire to help others, CONFAB facilitates micro trade shows around North America. At its core CONFAB is a business and relationship-building event for group meeting planners, hotel salespeople and CVB reps. Paul is known for crafting and weaving high-value experiences which increase both personal and business development for his customers and colleagues. Paul’s career journey includes selling for companies such as Disney, Benchmark Hotels & Resorts, Hello! Destination Management, and as Director of Sales with Salamander Hotels and PSAV. A highlight was being a member of the opening sales team for the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, which helped launch Hilton’s luxury brand.
Paul is a contributing author to the leadership book W.O.W. Factor, and pioneer of the Lead with a W.O.W. thought leadership book (www.leadwithawow.com) and WOW Talks Live leadership initiative, which are focused toward inspiring professionals working in the hospitality and meetings industry. Additionally, he is the co-founder and committee member for the Hospitality Prayer Breakfast at IMEX, which began in 2023. Paul is also an active volunteer and member of the Core Team leadership for the Orlando chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (www.shpbeds.org), which delivers and builds beds in the home of disadvantaged kids who sleep on the floor as they do not have a bed of their own.
